Final Fantasy 14

I started playing FF14 for realsies some time in November 2024, after my free trial had already elapsed.

After making a new character, a grey-haired Vierra, I humored a close friend of mine by keeping an open mind towards the game. Much like a good K-drama, FF14 starts off laughably slow. But when it picks up... oh boy does it!

The length of the game is ridiculus, in truth. However, it's been more than welcome as a distraction/retreat, as my daily life has grown busier. :)

Thematically, the spirit of ffxiv resonates with me deeply. It's a game about... well, everything, I suppose. But mostly, people.

Through the noise, all we can do is our best. I've come to feel like that is enough.
